I moved to Canada six years ago after a 45-year career as an ophthalmologist in India. In Canada, I earned a Diploma in Energy Medicine and advocate for Integrated Medicine. Having been trained to work extensive hours, I explored unknown terrains of my personality through abstract digital painting, fascinated by the light spectrum and hues of color.

Though not formally trained in art, my work was chosen for a 2023 exhibition by the Brampton Art Organization. This has become a treasured hobby, alongside chess, music, and volunteering.

I discovered that my art style aligns with Surrealist automatism, a process of creating without conscious thought, drawing from the unconscious mind and visually representing its rich, complex, and unpredictable nature.
